about us
Hi there, I’m Lindsey Gray. Certified forest bathing guide.
From childhood, being outdoors in nature has been my happy place. I grew up in the Fife countryside most happy when outside with trees, plants and animals. Fast forward to adulthood, when I started my career as a clinical nurse, but quickly discovered my heart was in community health & wellbeing.
I have 20+ years of first-hand experience working with organisations that promote health including:
- Paths for All and the Scottish Health Walk Network
- Scotland’s Mental Health First Aid (delivering the course to organisations)
- Outside the Box Development Agency
- Crossreach
- Braveheart
(to name just a few!)
Throughout my career, I saw how nature and movement and spending time outdoors significantly improved the lives of those I worked with.
The “ah-ha!” moment happened when I discovered the science of nature connection.
At a conference in 2023 I heard speakers from, amongst others, the university of Derby, a leader in nature-based research.
Since then, I have qualified as a Forest Bathing Guide with the Forest Therapy Hub. This excellent training has given me the skills and experience to take people outdoors, and help them slow down for the benefit of their health and wellbeing.
There’s a “nature gap” in wellness services offered both in the workplace and in the community.
I created Nature Happy for workplace teams and for community organisations – for anyone who needs relief from burnout and stress. Let me show you how to slow down in nature and experience amazing benefits!
I work with a small team of skilled & experienced facilitators to bring excellence and quality to your situation.
We can’t wait to guide you on your journey toward a happier, healthier, future!
